Salvium Vault Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 16, 2026

Salvium Vault is a non-custodial wallet interface for the Salvium network. You control your wallet seed, private keys, password, and backups. Salvium Vault does not ask you to create an account and does not custody your funds.

Information Stored On Your Device

Wallet data, settings, scan state, contacts, local transaction state, and encrypted backup-related data may be stored locally by your browser or the Android app. Your seed phrase and wallet password should never be shared with anyone. Biometric unlock, when enabled in the Android app, uses device-provided secure storage where available.

Information Sent To Salvium Services

To operate the wallet, the app communicates with Salvium-hosted services and/or Salvium network nodes for blockchain data, transaction relay, token metadata, price/yield information, wallet scanning data, and service health. These requests may include wallet-related public blockchain data needed to perform the requested wallet action, such as addresses, transaction data, or scan parameters.

Diagnostics

Salvium Vault may send privacy-preserving diagnostic events to help identify crashes, failed requests, wallet scanning issues, performance problems, and app update problems. Diagnostic events are designed to avoid collecting seed phrases, private keys, wallet passwords, full addresses, transaction hashes, or raw wallet payloads.

Diagnostics can be turned off at any time in Settings → Security & Privacy → Diagnostics. When turned off, no diagnostic events are sent.

App Update Checks

Installed Google Play and desktop builds may contact the Salvium Vault GitHub Releases page to check for a newer signed wallet-content manifest. This small check occurs at launch and contains ordinary network connection metadata, the app user agent, and no wallet seed, keys, address, balance, password, or wallet database.

An update archive is downloaded only after you choose Update now. The prompt shows the download size and provides Not now, Skip this version, and a link to the matching release notes. F-Droid builds do not use the out-of-band content updater.

Camera Permission

The Android app may request camera access when you choose to scan a QR code. Camera access is used only for QR scanning and is not used for background recording.

Sharing

Salvium Vault does not sell personal information. Data may be processed by infrastructure providers that host or protect Salvium services, or when required to comply with applicable law.

Security

Salvium Vault uses HTTPS for communication with Salvium services. Because this is a non-custodial wallet, you are responsible for protecting your seed phrase, password, device, and wallet backups.

Deletion And Support

You can clear local wallet data from the app/browser storage on your device. For support or privacy requests, contact [email protected].
